DISPOSABLE HEROES BLOW THE ROOF OFF FLAMES CENTRAL

The guys rolled into Calgary AB and played a show at the amazing new venue Flames Central owned and operated by the Calgary Flames hockey club. The guys delivered an amazingly tight and intense set from start to finish. The show also marked the return of Greg Kristianson to the band and you can tell the boys were happy to have him back. Another amazing fact to note was that our esteemed drummer Kerry Pasutto played the show with a fractured finger!

This was one very cool show and one that you did not want to miss. You're in luck if you didn't make it as there was a video crew on hand to record the proceedings. Be sure to check the Media section of the site for video from the show.

Killinger filled in on four string duties and once again he kicked some serious ass.

MORE D.H. IN CANMORE ALBERTA

Once again the boys rolled into Canmore Alberta and once again the guys amazed the sold out venue with a show that will not soon be forgotten. If you were one of the lucky few that made it into the venue (the clubs capacity was reached well before the start of the show and many fans had to listen to the band from outside) you were treated to a very special night.

From start to finish it was obvious the guys meant business on this one. The setlist contained a ton of classics and the band delivered each of them with an intensity that few other bands can match. Although the entire show could be called a highlight a couple of moments stand out. Call of Ktulu was played for the second time in the last three shows and was amazing to hear live once again. The boys rolled out another Megadeth classic, Wake Up Dead.

DISPOSABLE HEROES TO AUDITION NEW BASS PLAYERS

Disposable Heroes are seeking a new bass basher. Current bassist Greg Kristianson will be leaving the band after the upcoming shows to persue other ventures. The band wish Greg the best of luck with all he does in the future.

D.H. is looking for a professional that will show dedication and have an energetic stage presence. The band isn't looking for amateurs or wannabes. Must have own gear and will need to travel when needed. Also, knowledge of most Metallica tunes and the ability to do backing vocals is an asset! A current passport would also be a plus as some international travel may be required.

Contact the band at info@disposableheroes.ca or info@themetallicatribute.com to arrange an audition.
